We have therefore created products which has the wholesome goodness of chicken, veggies and fruits– all rolled into one. E.g our gluten free /grain free biscuitshave the goodness of meat and fruits and veggies – all together. Our Gluten free chews are made of healthy dehydrated fruits and vegetables. Truetumz chicken jerkys are not only wholesome , but also Gluten free , made of human grade chicken with layers of fruits on the jerky meat.

Since gluten is one of the major causes for allergies in dogs leading to many dogs being made to switch to hypoallergenic diets , our gluten free treats are ideal for dogs with such sensitivities. Dogs who have been suggested switching to Hypoallergenic diet owing to Gluten based allergies , can specifically consider our treats as a viable snacking option. We also have a range of biscuit based treats which are totally Grain free . While we use flours of Rice, Gram and Tapioca in our Gluten Free Biscuits , ourGrain free Biscuitshave flours of Buckwheat ( Kuttu) , Gram and Tapioca. This makes the treats not only a great option for Hypoallergenic dogs but also a great healthy source of nourishment. These treats not only will keep the dogs free of allergies but also add to their overall well being because of their wholesome ingredients.
Treats With Real Chicken Only
TrueTumz chicken based treats are made of 100% real chicken. Our real chicken treats dont have chicken in dubious avatars like processed chicken powder or chicken meals etc. Not all chicken treats are the same…the difference between a great quality chicken biscuit ( real chicken biscuit) for example vs a low grade chicken biscuit( made of chicken by products) is sometimes only the form/source of the chicken. While chicken is the most popular ingredient in non-veg biscuits…it probably is the most abused too. With the lack of regulation and checks , anything and everything which was once chicken is added to dog products by some manufacturers – this can include feathers , non edible parts , offal etc. Treats with such low grade chicken can cause a lot of harm to your pooch. Not only is it bad for the digestive system and cause short term issues , exposure to these low quality chicken can cause long term more serious issues also.

With a growing market for pet food , there has been a proliferation of new brands and products. The regulatory and quality control mechanisms haven’t kept pace with this exploding supply of products. Till the time stronger checking mechanisms aren’t put in place , pet parents would need to ensure that they are well aware of quality standards and ingredient listing on labels. Only then will we able to ensure our dogs get the very best. At TrueTumz we believe the quality of snacks that we give our dogs should be the same quality of snacks we feed ourselves. The chicken we use is human consumption grade. We don’t use chicken meal or meat meal or bone meal etc in our treats. We only use real chicken from healthy poultry supply chain. The chicken is procured by us and we handle every piece ourselves before processing along with other ingredients.
