We were motivated to make treats because we saw there was a dearth of treats made of good ingredients. The market is full of mass produced treats with label tricks and confusing ingredients. Our philosophy is very simple – take every decision in recipe design, ingredient choice, process – with a singular agenda – is this the best thing for your dog !

Quality Ingredients

We care for dogs. We believe they should have treats and snacks made of the same quality of ingredients that we ourselves wouldn’t mind eating. We have created these snacks with this TRUE INTENT…with TRUE INGREDIENTS. We have added to these treats ingredients which we would happily eat. The sourcing is done from the same place we source human consumption worthy ingredients. The chicken is human consumption worthy, the veggies are fresh and the oil and herbs are of the highest quality standard.

Based On Experience

Our understanding of dog nutrition and first hand experience of feeding and taking care of hundreds of dogs at our boarding facility in Mumbai – Petfelix, has helped us create a wholesome healthy snack for your pooch. We have seen many dogs stay and eat here…we have seen what they like to eat and what they don’t. We have seen what makes them digest food better and what causes discomfort…We have also had the opportunity to see a large range of snacks and treats that accompany these dogs and therefore have had the chance to see the good, bad and the ugly. This wide range of information has helped us make a range of snack which is truly good and healthy.

Intent Matters

TrueTumz comes from the heart ! While running Petfelix, the largest boarding facility in Mumbai, we struggled to find good quality gluten free dog snacks for our boarders. It was so obvious to us that our doggos deserved much better. This was the starting point of our journey with TrueTumz. We therefore created not only the best gluten free biscuits we could, we took things a step further….we made grain free biscuits too. This idea further evolved into two more categories of treats – veg treats and jerkys…and while these are all different types of treats, what is common between them all is our intent – to do what is best for the pooch ! Period.

We Want To Set The Standard

Our aim is to set the gold standard for what a dog snack should be like – devoid of low grade fillers and by products, transparent and truthful labelling and a well balanced nutritious mix of ingredients. We believe that we will be able to show the way for many more brands to use only good, human consumption worthy ingredients. We hope to create more awareness amongst pet parents too about understanding of labels, understanding of misleading ingredient terminology and thus making the right choices for their pooch

No Tricks Dog Snack

We say on the label what we have put inside these treats – no games, no tricks. We use human consumption worthy chicken only. The chicken is procured by us directly and baked into our yummy grain free biscuits for your poochs’ eating pleasure. We add no sugar or salt to our treats. They are made of all natural and healthy ingredients. Our chews are as pure as they get. They are single ingredient treats…just healthy fruits and vegetables – cut and dehydrated. The jerkys are only pure chicken strips enhanced with flavors from real fruits, herbs and healthy seeds. There are no tricks…no fine print….The only tricks that we associate with are the tricks that you can make your dog do using our treats !

High Protein Snacks

Our chicken based grain free and gluten free biscuits have high Protein content derived from REAL CHICKEN and gram flour. We don’t add harmful protein enhancers like chicken powder and chicken by-products to our snacks. Moreover, we manufacture our snacks in-house and do not outsource to a third party bulk manufacturer. This helps maintain better quality checks and stringent hygiene conditions for manufacturing a truly awesome product !
